Gina Pellicci
Gina received her Bachelor's in Psychology from Hunter College and her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University. Currently, Gina is pursuing her clinical social work license. Since beginning her pursuit to become a clinical social worker, Gina has worked with a variety of populations including those with serious mental illness, trauma, adolescents, the LGBTQIA+ community, eating disorders and chronic physical illnesses. Gina believes in Sex Positive social work practice, and is highly educated in issues that arise in the LGBTQIA+, sexual dysfunction, kink and non-monogamous communities. She plans to pursue a certification in sex therapy in the future.
Gina's approach to therapy is tailored to fit the individual needs of the client. She incorporates tools from Dialetical Behavioral Therapy, the Sanctuary Trauma Model, mindfulness-based therapy and psychodynamic therapy into her sessions with clients.
Gina also has extensive experience in case management and patient advocacy.
